WAMI, Guitars for Vets partner on new Summerfest stage

MILWAUKEE – Guitars For Vets and WAMI have combined forces to bring more than 90 Wisconsin music acts to Summerfest in a new performance area. Guitars For Vets @ LakeWalk South is the best kept secret for music fans at this year’s festival.

Artist schedules aren’t going to appear in Summerfest’s brochures, media or app. Look for the lineups daily at WAMI’s Facebook page or by visiting wamimusicwi.com. Better yet, stop by the stage and get familiar with some of the great talent Wisconsin has to offer.

WHERE:

The Guitars for Vets@ LakeWalk South is located under The WATER STREET BREWERY building and facing Lake Michigan. The location is the southernmost stage before BMO and the amphitheater and is right along the lake path.

THE MUSIC:

Start your Summerfest visit with a glimpse of the future of Wisconsin music. Our early afternoon lineups will showcase young musicians representing a variety of music schools from across the state. Following our youth performers, the lineup will feature a diverse mix of local and regional acts from the Fox Valley and Milwaukee areas.
